Fulfillment by Amazon FBA is a service we offer sellers that lets them store their products in Amazon’s fulfillment centers, and we directly pack, ship, and provide customer service for these products. Sorry, there was a problem. However, the case had a problem I would suggest only buying from a reputable 3rd party seller though like amazon warehouse. Write a customer review. Published 1 month ago. No matter what you’re looking for, Google Play has it all.

We carefully examined the package and opened the box. The GF checked the phone, OS, and everything and everything was good! She is now super happy that she got the good product.

We called the seller before placing this order as well, and the person who answered the phone at Open Group Wireless could not be any more rude. She was extremely rude, but we don’t even care because we finally got what we paid for.

The reason why we purchased from this seller is because when we asked what side the seal was, the woman said it was on the short side. Now, we are getting more information about the device through Samsung Korea customer service center located in Suwon to see if this was exported by authorized dealer and to trace it back to the country of origin because now the device does not say where it’s from.

Based on their answer, if we find anything contrary to our belief that it is a good, genuine, unused product, then I’ll update the review then. I am posting this review on all three product pages.

I tried to call Samsung and have them unlock, tried to call Cricket to have them unlock If you ever get locked out of your phone, and the flimsy Android Find My Device resetting the password doesn’t work, congrats you now have a dollar hunk of metal and plastic.

My return window ended on January 31st, which was only 2 months after I bought the phone. Really upset, I hope no one else gives this scammer any money at all. Comment 20 people found this helpful.

My previous post was declined for posting because I’m trying to let customers know about my experience. This phone was nice when I got it almost 4 months ago, but now it doesn’t work at all.

Now I’m stuck with an expensive cell phone that doesn’t work. Comment 11 people found this helpful. Wow, what a difference a year makes. While last year’s S5 took many steps in the right direction being somewhat waterproof with better material and craftsmanship, it still wasn’t there to make it a mouth-watering phone yet, like what HTC did when they first introduced their One M7, or whenever Apple introduces a new iPhone size.

This year, Samsung has finally learned from both of their competitors, and made a phone that has all the good qualities of both, plus some of their own. Finally, this is the Galaxy S that you’ve always wanted and been dreaming of.

The very first thing you notice when you handle the phone, is its new design and form factor – finally Samsung has completed their transformation of getting rid of all that ugly plastic parts.

Now it is just all glass and metal, and now it is truly beautiful. The metal fully wraps around the edges ofthe phone. The back is beautiful, the sides are beautiful – heck, even the buttons are beautiful.

It feels great in the hand, and oozes style and sophistication. The S6 Edge is just so unique-looking – it is the most beautiful phone I’ve seen in a long time.

And contrary to what people might say or what you might think, the two sloped edges are not awkward to handle, does not dig into your skin, and is not uncomfortable to grip.

The very next thing you notice, of course, is the screen. I am continually pleasantly surprised at the evolution of Samsung’s AMOLED technology – it has now became the best screen in the industry, hands down.

But now, they have fixed those issues, and the S6’s screen is just quite simply the best. I still think 5. Although this is quite overkill right now, it’s always nice to have the latest and greatest technology – that’s the reason why we buy these overpriced phones in the first place, isn’t it?

It is also very bright, and sunlit legibility is excellent. Color reproduction is quite accurate, and like the S5, you can choose different color modes to suit your liking.

An important aspect to discuss is the battery life, now more than ever because there is no removable back cover to make replacing the battery easily like before, not to mention there is no microSD slot for you to add memory space to your phone.

Comparatively, the S6 Edge is supposed to last a little less than the S6 regular, which I’ve read is less than last year’s S5. But I’m one of those who are always around a charger, and I always carry external battery packs in my backpack when I travel, so that’s never a concern.

Seriously, who even buys an extra battery anymore – which you can only use for a single specific phone model – when your external battery can charge ANY and ALL phones and tablets??

I don’t think that scenario is realistic nowadays when external batteries are so small, light, and cheap. I get home, plug it up, and there are no issues. The Samsung user interface called TouchWiz used to be bloated and sluggish.

It would slow down navigating throughout the phone, switching between apps, and using the apps themselves once you start installing more and more apps and put more and more shortcuts and widgets on the home screens.

Worse, they would cram all their Samsung apps on you, which for the most part are inferior to their Google counterparts. They came pre-installed, and uninstallable – you can only downgrade and disable them, but you can’t take them off completely.

Now, with the new TouchWiz working in conjunction with Android 5. There are also fewer of those Samsung apps – now you have the option of downloading them, but they no longer come pre-installed and wasting your space, which is now more precious than ever.

Not only is is simplistic, but in its simplistic ways, it is sleek, stylish, and beautiful. Google has done a great job is making everything easier to find, easier to use, easier to function.

The color scheme is more coherent and consistent, and uses a basic color code that just makes sense. And it is quick, quick, quick! I know the phone itself is super-fast, but Google has done a great job is getting rid of the bloated feeling of past versions.

I also have an old Nexus 4, and have enjoyed Lollipop on there for a while, so I know the speed is not just from the phone. And speaking of the phone’s speed – WOW! So Samsung has made the S6 with just one processor this time – their new octa-core 8-core Exynos, and it is by far the greatest, fastest, and most powerful processor I have ever witnessed.

The Snapdragon was supposed to be almost as fast if not equal, but I’m glad I’m finally able to try Samsung’s top of the line Exynos processor. But this phone blows them all a way by a far, far margin.

Trust me when I say you will be very surprised, and very pleased. Here is finally a phone that you don’t have to wait for any longer – you tell it what you want to do, and it does it instantly. The S6 is like a Bugatti with its limiter taken off.

This phone screams full-throttle! It is great, what can I say? This area of technology will keep continuing to progress and advance for the next years at least, but we have already come so far. And to have it be already included in your phone is quite amazing, when you really think about it.

And there are built-in enhancements and edits that you can do straight from the camera that are quite robust and powerful. So, why did I say the evolution is near complete, and not yet?

Well, besides the theoretical ideal that nothing is perfect, to the practical ideal like things like the camera will continue to improve for the foreseeable future, I felt that while Samsung took some big strides forward, they also took some steps back.

For instance, by making it non-plastic, they open themselves to being less experienced in sealing it up, so they couldn’t make it waterproof anymore. In the same vein, they can no longer make the back plate removable to replace the battery although it is not impossible – you can actually get around it, but then you would void Samsung’s warranty.

And I’m guessing they didn’t have enough research time in the metal production assembly to be good enough yet to include holes for the microSD slot. So what can they practically improve on to make this as near perfect as possible?

Make it waterproof like before or better, and if you can’t make the back plate removable, then improve on the battery life, and allow for the microSD expansion slot. And keep improving on TouchWiz, and get the Google updates out quicker.

If you debating whether the international version is more worth it because you can use it overseas, remember that the international version does not have all the LTE bands, so you might not get the best possible 4G speeds.

But you don’t want to be stuck in a contract? Well, then, you can buy the phone at full price from the US carrier that you use most, and then call their customer service and have them give you the unlock code.

Because you bought the phone whole, you are not under contract, therefore you are entitled to the unlock code. Overall, this is the very first Samsung phone that has blown me away.

Not just in some ways impressed me, but made me very happy and please, and proud, to own a Samsung phone. The Note Edge was almost there, but after a while it became too big and heavy for me.

The S6 has the perfect combination: This is a phone that you can have for many years and it will still be just as cool and just as usable several years down the line.

The S6 Edge is the most unique phone not just unique-looking that I have owned and even seen in a long time. Get it, you will LOVE it! See all reviews. See all customer images. Most recent customer reviews.

They never seize to disappoint me. Comment 5 people found this helpful. Was this review helpful to you? I recently bought this as my second S6 Edge due to battery fires with the S7 and glass cracking complaints with the S8 plus other S8 design complaints.

Nothing after this has interested me. Samsung has lost their ability to produce a well engineered, high quality, and therefore reliable, cell phone. I’ve had my 1st S6 Edge since October and not quite two years later in August I just bought this 2nd one for my wife a few weeks ago.

Comment 3 people found this helpful. I’m a little unsure how to rate this product because the first one I ordered actually went bad. The signal was so bad and started dropping calls and then couldn’t even make a call or even a text and then the battery started running out even when it was plugged in.

It just went crazy. I like the design and the computer part of the phone so well that I sent the first back and ordered a second one, hoping the signal issue was just that particular phone.

After getting the second I found that the signal is just as bad on it, running at db or below all the time. I’m now on my third week with this phone and so far it is running much better than the first and no dropped calls.

I hope it works out because I love everything else about it. The phone really is a piece of art. Big enough to enjoy videos or read without squinting but small enough to fit comfortably in your pocket.

One note, you will want to use the power saving functions on the phone. If you don’t the power will run down quickly, but if you do then you will get the performance you want.

I ordered this Samsung on August 10, received it on the 13th and returned on the 14th. Overall it was a great “looking” phone but, I definitely received a defective device. The phone came in a vague box, wrapped in bubble wrap, and wall charger, that’s it.

Along with the code to activate it and no sim card. The gentleman in best buy, FIL, noticed as he was adding the sim card the phone was extraordinarily hot and almost dead.

I had only been there a few minutes, in the meantime the screen froze. Fil hooked the phone up to charge so he could attempt to unfreeze the screen. Went home in that 10 minutes it died yet again.

I charged the phone for about 40 minutes and called my phone carrier and we had the hardest time activating. Once we got the phone activated it would never connect to the internet. I’d rather have something I know I can depend on and will adequately work, versus saving a little bit of money.

So I packed this baby up and sent it back the very next day. Comment One person found this helpful. Problems charging after 6 months of use. Samsung would not warranty because although it was sold as new it was manufactured 2 years ago.

Called the seller Mobile Connection they would do nothing but refer me Amazon customer service. Stay away from Mobile Connection also they are worthless!! Comment 9 people found this helpful.

They only offer a 30 day warranty, because they really don’t expect the phone to last very long at all. I purchased this phone less than a year ago from this seller, and already it is becoming unusable.

It cannot maintain connection to any wifi signal for more than a minute or two. It is buggy in its daily use, such as google maps closing or switching to another app randomly in the middle of a route I am driving when not touched at all.

When the phone is charging, it becomes even more buggy, and you can never be sure what functions it will randomly start performing each time you make a finger press. All these problems persist even after a factory reset and disabling all additional optional features.

The seller does not care, and if you cite any of these problems to them, they will simply say “sorry, its past the 30 day warranty”. I’ve been using this phone for about a month and can safely say Samsung absolutely nailed it.

The screen, performance, and build quality are just amazing and the camera is ridiculously good to where I just can’t see using my point and shoot anymore. Seems like battery life differs from person to person and it is highly dependent on location and use, but for me it’s been fantastic.

Light years better than my old Galaxy S3. I ended up getting an external battery just in case but haven’t needed to use it. The “edge” part of the phone really serves no purpose other than looking cool; for me it was worth the extra money.

The non-edge looked too much like my old S3. I did a lot of research before deciding on this phone and I’m confident I made the right choice. Comment 4 people found this helpful.

I did not want to purchase it through a carrier, so I got the GF model, knowing it won’t be covered by Samsung’s warranty because it’s a global version. However, when I received the phone, I couldn’t help but think it has been opened.

As you can see in my picture, the original Samsung seal has been cut open clean cut and then a new sticker was on top of that to cover that up. I thought I saw two stickers, but when my girlfriend lifted the first one, the second one at the bottom was revealed and we could immediately see that the case has been opened.

Even thought this was sold at a “NEW” device, my girlfriend felt like it has been opened previously and she did not want to keep anything that was suspicious. I left a seller feedback, and Amazon immediately deleted it saying they fulfilled the order and it wasn’t the seller’s fault.

However, how is Amazon responsible for an item when it was supplied like that by the seller? I don’t get it. Anyhow – I was able to return the first device. I do not recommend Wireless Place at all.

Because we returned the first one, now my girlfriend was sad because she didn’t have the gift on her birthday. So I was confidant in my purchase and ordered it from this seller and I thought everything was good to go Well, we received the device from Shopebest, and there were a few things that were wrong with this order.

First, the seller said it was GI model very confidant seller, guaranteed it was the i model but the one we received was GF model. We did not complain at all about this – just thought the seller did not keep good track of what they were selling.

Because the F model has more LTE bands, it was a plus. However, the case had a problem Also, my girlfriend opened it up and checked the phone, and guess what? The OS was already upgraded to 5.

That means someone has opened it, used it, and upgraded the phone to the latest OS. And even if you reset the phone to factory setting, you can’t uninstall the OS without rooting the phone. So we had our suspicion, but wanted to make sure and check with Samsung before we make false accusations.

An excerpt from the email we received from the Samsung UAE agent what is in the parenthesis is my question: Is it the top or bottom, or the sides where it””s longer in length? What Android OS did this come out of the factory?

If a phone is straight from the factory, should it have OS 5. So we got confirmation that this device has been upgraded by someone else who has opened the box and used the phone.

Of course, returned it. At this point, the only reason we were able to remain calm was the Amazon’s policy and its customer service reps. As soon as we opened the package, we knew we got the real deal this time.

Please refer to my images that I attached below. This one had the Samsung seal on the short side and the dealer sticker also. We carefully examined the package and opened the box. The GF checked the phone, OS, and everything and everything was good!

She is now super happy that she got the good product. We called the seller before placing this order as well, and the person who answered the phone at Open Group Wireless could not be any more rude.

However, this phone had met is expectations. Phone came in its originally wrapping, had headphones, manua, and original charger!! I thought of buying new at first but so glad I didn’t.

From the looks of the phone after taken out of the box you can’t even tell it was used. There was no physical damage or wear. This phone is amazing!! I went from a Note 3 to this and I’m happy I made the transition.

I will say the edges are a thing I’m having to get used to but other than that this phone is amazing!! I would suggest only buying from a reputable 3rd party seller though like amazon warehouse.
