Hello, this is my first time trying to root a phone so excuse my noobness: I have done some research on this but cannot find a solution. Hello thanks for the answer, much appreciated!

However I am still unsuccessful. I will try to explain my problem a bit more detailed:

I don’t see the z3v. The USB drivers install link no longer works. I’m trying to get my recently purchased Z3v rooted and it came with. Posted below, this worked when disabling driver signing on windows 8 and newer.

Once disabled, you will get prompted for unsigned driver acceptance during the drivers install. Then it will work. As soon as my laptop is done charging upstairs I will be making it.

Should be up tonight or tomorrow. I’ve had some family issues to deal with the last couple days. It will be made! For now the guide is pretty good so def try it out.. Xposed, which is a glorious thing in itself.

You can also install Titanium Backup definitely worth the price, and actually uninstall everything from that Amazon app to the default Sony keyboard. Root is really nice. Always forget about exposed.

That came out after I stopped rooting my phones.. Maybe I’ll give it a try then. I wonder if it’s possible to use other custom recoveries, or if XZDualRecovery is the only option.

Thank you very much zxz0O0. Perhaps I’m missing something. What is the secret to getting flashtool to recognize the ftf after you have moved it to the root of the firmwares folder and first open flashtool.

A pop up tells me to move the file but it is already there.
